THIS MISSION AREA SEEKS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT GENRE WRITERS AND WRITING AS WELL AS EDUCATE AND DEVELOP GENRE WRITERS PROFESSIONALLY. PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE ANNUAL NEBULA AWARDS AND CONFERENCE, MENTORING, PUBLICATIONS FOR MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC, BLOGS, ANTHOLOGIES, REGIONAL READING SERIES AND MEETINGS, VISIBILITY AT CONVENTIONS, HOSTING SIGS AND VIRTUAL EVENTS THAT BUILD COMMUNITY WITH PANELS, GATHERINGS AND GUIDED WRITING TIME FOR ALL GENRE WRITERS.
THIS MISSION AREA DEFENDS GENRE WRITERS AND ALSO ADVOCATES FOR GENRE WRITING AND WRITERS.
