VIRTUAL LAB THE MAGIC OF SCIENCE WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY FROM THE CONVENIENCE OF THE HOME. THE VIRTUAL LAB IS AN IMMERSIVE STEM EXPERIENCE THAT COMES WITH ACCESS TO LEADING AGE-TAILORED STEM CURRICULUM, CAREFULLY CRAFTED AND LED BY CREDENTIALED TEACHERS, AND A STEM LAB KIT THAT WILL ALLOW STUDENTS TO CONDUCT FIVE EXPERIMENTS A WEEK FROM THEIR OWN LAB SPACE.THE PROGRAM INCLUDED SIX WEEKS OF VIRTUAL STEM LAB ENGAGING WITH 300 FEMALE STEM PROFESSIONALS AND 70 STEM COMPANIES. PROJECT SCIENTIST SERVED CLOSE TO 1800 GIRLS THROUGHOUT THE SIX WEEKS. TOTAL PROGRAM REVENUE WAS $887,685 IN 2020, WITH $198,885 COMING FROM PROGRAM FEES AND $688,800 FROM CONTRIBUTIONS
STEM CLUBPROJECT SCIENTIST'S STEM CLUB OFFERS LIVE ONLINE STEM ENRICHMENT FOR GIRLS AGES 4-12. STEM CLUB INCLUDES 90 MINUTES OF HANDS-ON EXPERIMENTS AND ACTIVITIES LED BY PROJECT SCIENTIST CERTIFIED TEACHERS IN CLASSROOMS OF AROUND 15 GIRLS EACH WEEK, A LAB KIT DELIVERED TO THE HOME EACH MONTH, AND ACCESS TO A VIRTUAL COMMUNITY OF MENTORS AND LIKE-MINDED GIRLS. PROJECT SCIENTIST SERVED OVER 1100 GIRLS THROUGHOUT THE THREE MONTHS.
SCHOLARSPROJECT SCIENTIST'S SCHOLARS PROGRAM OFFERS GIRLS, AGES 13-15, AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE MENTORED BY ACCOMPLISHED PROFESSIONALS FROM LEADING STEM COMPANIES AND ORGANIZATIONS.
