REACH PROVIDES A DAY AND NIGHT PROGRAM FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO LACK RESOURCES TO HAVE THEIR OWN HOME. ALSO, REACH PROVIDES HOT MEALS TO ALL COMERS. BOTH PROGRAMS SERVED ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL COMERS WITH SOME RESTRICTIONS RELATED TO CLIENT SAFETY. REACH SERVES THE RENTON AREA

Part 3 - Line 4a

CENTER OF HOPE - THE CENTER OF HOPE OFFERS EMERGENCY SHELTER AND CASE MANAGEMENT TO UP TO 10 HOMELESS FAMILIES AT A TIME. THIS COMBINATION OF SERVICES HELPS PROVIDE THEM THE STABILITY AND SUPPORT THEY NEED AS THEY NAVIGATE FROM HOMELESSNESS TO HOUSING STABILITY.


OTHER PROGRAMS: SHOWER SERVICES, RENTON MEAL COALITION AND DIVERSION


REACH MEAL COALITION - THE REACH MEAL COALITION CONDUCTS OUTREACH EFFORTS TO PERSONS LIVING UNHOUSED IN THE RENTON COMMUNITY. SERVICES INCLUDE WEEKLY MEALS, CLOTHING DISTRIBUTIONS, HOLIDAY MEALS.


COLD WEATHER SHELTER - IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CITY OF RENTON, THE COLD WEATHER SHELTER PROVIDES OVERNIGHT SHELTER TO UNHOUSED INDIVIDUALS WHEN THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS ARE MET: DAILY HIGH TEMPERATURE IS FORECAST TO BE 35 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT OR BELOW AND DAILY LOW TEMPERATURE IS FORECAST TO BE 30 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT OR BELOW FOR ONE OR MORE DAYS; SNOW ACCUMULATION EXPECTED TO EXCEED FOUR (4) INCHES IN DEPTH; OTHER CONDITIONS DEEMED SEVERE ENOUGH TO PRESENT A SUBSTANTIAL THREAT TO THE LIFE OR HEALTH OF HOMELESS PERSONS, AND AT LEAST ONE OTHER SHELTER IN SOUTH KING COUNTY HAS BEEN ACTIVATED.
