THE MUSEUM INTERPRETS THE FAMINE VISUALLY, ALLOWING ARTISTS BOTH THOSE CONTEMPORANEOUS WITH THE GREAT HUNGER AND THOSE WORKING TODAY TO EXPLORE THE IMPACT OF THE LOSS OF LIFE, THE LEECHING OF THE LAND, AND THE EROSIONS OF LANGUAGE AND CULTURE.
