"SOUTHLAND UTILIZES THE UNIQUE INFLUENCE OF THE CAMPING MINISTRY TO SERVE LOCAL CHURCHES BY CHALLENGING EVERY CAMPER TO CONFORM TO THE CHARACTER OF CHRIST, THROUGH SALVATION, OBEDIENCE TO GODS WORD, AND SURRENDER TO FAITHFUL SERVICE." SOUTHLAND CHRISTIAN CAMP AND CONFERENCE CENTER IS A SERVICE MINISTRY SENT OUT FROM AND HELD ACCOUNTABLE BY A BOARD OF DIRECTORS.OUR CAMPING MINISTRY PROVIDES A DIFFERENT PLACE WITH DIFFERENT PEOPLE WHO ARE RUNNING A DIFFERENT PROGRAM. WE ARE, HOWEVER, PRESENTING THE SAME GOD FROM ONE BIBLE. WE USE THIS SETTING TO WORK TOGETHER TO POINT CAMPERS TO CHRIST AND CHRIST -LIKENESS. THE SERENITY OF CAMP AND THE QUIETNESS OF LIFE ALLOWS FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH AND SWEET COMMUNION WITH JESUS CHRIST GOLF, COUPLES, MENS, LADIES, AND TEEN WINTER RETREATS ALLOWED FOR A GREAT TIME OF FELLOWSHIP, DELICIOUS FOOD, AND FUN ACTIVITIES THAT MADE IT CONDUCIVE TO TRULY RELAX, TO INVEST IN RELATIONSHIPS, AND TO ALLOW GOD'S WORD TO OPEN UP AND CHALLENGE US ON AREAS IN OUR LIVES THAT NEED ADJUSTMENTS.
