MICS PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST THROUGH VARIOUS AVENUES OF MINISTRY INCLUDING EVANGELISM, EDUCATION, AND BENEVOLENT FORMS OF CHRISTIAN SERVICE, AND THE OPERATION OF ONE NURSING HOME.

HILLCREST HOME - MIC OPERATES A NURSING HOME LOCATED IN HARRISON, ARKANSAS. HILLCREST HOME HAS PROVIDED SPIRITUAL, PHYSICAL, AND EMOTIONAL CARE FOR AN AVERAGE OF 93 ELDERLY CLIENTS DAILY. WHILE PROVIDING THIS CARE TO THE ELDERLY, YOUTH RECEIVING MINIMAL COMPENSATION ARE ENCOURAGED TO GROW SPIRITUALLY AND SERVE CHRIST BY SERVING OTHERS. THE EXTRA FUNDS GENERATED BY THE MINIMAL COMPENSATION TO THE YOUTH ARE THEN USED TO SUPPORT CHRISITIAN EVANGELISM THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.


MISSIONS AND OTHER ORGANIZATION ACTIVITY SUPPORT - DURING THE YEAR, MIC HAD VARIOUS MISSIONS ACTIVITIES LOCATED IN IRELAND.SUPPORT WAS GIVEN TO MICS OPPERATION OF AMISH MENNONITE COMMUNITY LTD (AMC) IN IRELAND, WHICH STRESSES EVANGELISM THROUGH PERSONAL AND BUSINESS INTERACTIONS. AMC ALSO PROVIDES WORKPLACE TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT, HOSTS SEMINARS ON FAMILY LIVING, CHILD TRAINING AND RELATED TOPICS, OPERATES A CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, AND WORKS WITH TROUBLED YOUTH.
