THE TEXAS COALITION FOR ANIMAL PROTECTION (TCAP) IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES COMPASSIONATE SOLUTIONS TO PET OVERPOPULATION AND COMMUNITY ANIMAL WELFARE. TCAP ACCOMPLISHES THIS GOAL BY MAKING AFFORDABLE, HIGH QUALITY STERILIZATION AND PREVENTATIVE SERVICES AVAILABLE TO TEXAS PET OWNERS.

THROUGH THE TEXAS COALITION FOR ANIMAL PROTECTION'S LOW COST PET STERILIZATION AND VACCINATION PROGRAM, VETERINARIANS STERILIZED 65,681 ANIMALS AND VACCINATED 147,484 ANIMALS AGAINST THE RABIES VIRUS. TCAP HOSTED A NUMBER OF COMMUNITY EDUCATION EVENTS AND PARTICIPATED IN VARIOUS COMMUNITY FESTIVALS TO PROMOTE AN END TO ANIMAL SUFFERING AND TO PROMOTE ANIMAL WELFARE. IN ADDITION, IN FURTHERANCE OF THE PREVENTION OF ANIMAL CRUELTY, TCAP STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS EDUCATED PET OWNERS THROUGH OUR VACCINATION AND STERILIZATION EVENTS ABOUT DISEASE PROTECTION AND GOOD ANIMAL HEALTH AS WELL, INCLUDING THE NEED FOR PET STERILIZATION.
