DURING 2022 FAR HELPED STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES NAVIGATE CONTINUING VIOLENCE AND FOOD CRISIS IN HAITI. MOST STUDENTS CONTINUED ATTENDING SCHOOL ALTHOUGH TUITION AND MATERIAL EXPENSES INCREASED DUE TO THE 42% INFLATION RATE THE COUNTRY FACES. IN ADDITION, FAR PROVIDED QUARTERLY FOOD DISTRIBUTION TO FAMILIES IN RURAL AREAS AND ADDITIONAL FINANCES FOR FOOD PURCHASE IN PAP. FAR COMPLETED THE CONSTRUCTION OF A FAMILY DWELLING IN JACMEL AND SUPPORTS AN INFORMAL ART INSTRUCTION PROGRAM FOR COMMUNITY CHILDREN IN THE HOME. FAR CONTINUES TO SUPPORT A TILAPIA FARMING PROJECT IN THE CENTRAL PLATEAU WHICH PROVIDES A FOOD SOURCE FOR THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. REGRETTABLY WE LOST ONE OF OUR IN-COUNTRY COORDINATORS AND PROVIDED FOR FUNERAL EXPENSES AND FAMILY RELOCATION.
