FOOD PANTRY: DURING 2021 THE FOOD PANTRY WAS OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF POLK COUNTY, IOWA. THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS PRE-SORTED NURTITIONALLY BALANCED 3-DAY+ SUPPLY OF FOOD BASED ON FAMILY SIZE INCLUDING REFRIGERATED AND FROZEN FOODS, MILK AND MEAT AND PERSONAL CARE PRODUCTS ONCE PER CALENDAR MONTH. BREAD ITEMS AND FRESH PRODUCE ARE AVAILABLE DAILY. THE FOOD PANTRY SERVED ON AVERAGE 1,908 INDIVIDUALS EACH MONTH. ON AVERAGE, 57,531 POUNDS OF FOOD WERE DISTRIBUTED MONTHLY.
