DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, ROTARY YOUTH EXCHANGE WAS UNABLE TO SCHEDULE STUDENTS FOR LONGTERM EXCHANGES DUE TO COVID-19. IN A TYPICAL YEAR WE SEND APPROXIMATELY 15-20 STUDENTS ON EXCHANGE. WE WORK WITH OVER 150 HOST FAMILY MEMBERS AND APPROXIMATELY 35 ROTARIANS SERVING AS COUNSELORS. WE PERFORM CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ON HOST FAMILY MEMBERS AND COUNSELORS AND TRAIN THEM AS PER THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE US DEPARTMENT OF STATE AND ROTARY INTERNATIONAL.
