DIGITAL COMMUNICATION AND EDUCATION - THE NEW CENTER PROVIDES ORIGINAL PERSPECTIVES ON THE ISSUES OF THE DAY FROM TAXATION TO IMMIGRATION, AND FROM HEALTH CARE TO TRADE. THESE POLICY DOCUMENTS WILL EXPLORE COMMON SENSE POLICY PROPOSALS UPON WHICH DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS SHOULD BE ABLE TO AGREE. THE FIRST POLICY DOCUMENT FROM THE NEW CENTER IS IDEAS TO RE-CENTER AMERICA.NETWORK BUILDING AND OUTREACH - THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WE CONVENED AN ARRAY OF THINKERS AND LEADERS FROM ACROSS THE POLITICAL SPECTRUM TO HELP DEFINE THE VALUES AND POLICIES THAT CAN ANIMATE THE NEW CENTER. THE NEW CENTER BROUGHT TOGETHER 800 CITIZENS IN BREAKOUT DISCUSSIONS WITH EXPERTS AND 100 BUSINESS AND THOUGHT LEADERS TO DISCUSS A COMPELLING POLICY PLATFORM FOR THE POLITICAL CENTER.
