OPERATION OF HOPE WORLDWIDE IS A MEDICAL/HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION THAT PROVIDES CLEFT LIP, CLEFT PALATE, FACIAL RECONSTRUCTION AND BURN SURGERIES IN ZIMBABWE, AFRICA, MALAWI, AFRICA, PAPUA NEW GUINEA, BANGLADESH AND VIETNAM. WE CARE FOR THE NEEDY AND UNDER-SERVED CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS: 1) GIVE MEDICAL ACCESS AND ECONOMIC MEANS FOR THIS SPECIALIZED MEDICAL CARE; PROVIDE TRAINING FOR LOCAL DOCTORS AND NURSES; 3) CONTINUE AND EDUCATIONAL COMPONENT THAT HAS BECOME SUCH A VITAL PART OF THIS SURGICAL AND HEALTHCARE CARE; ND 4) CONTINUE TO IMPROVE THE WORKING CONDITIONS AND SAFETY MEASURES IN THE HOSPITALS IN WHICH WE SERVE SINCE 1989.
