FIRST ACCOMPLISHMENT: HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IS NOT JUST IN THE HOME BUILDING AND REPAIR BUSINESS; WE'RE IN THE PEOPLE HELPING BUSINESS. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI HELPS HOMEOWNERS GAIN STRENGTH, STABILITY AND OF SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI HELPS HOMEOWNERS GAIN STRENGTH, STABILITY AND SELF-RELIANCE THROUGH SHELTER BY BUILDING AND REHABILITATING EXISTING HOMES. PLACED 4 NEW HOMEOWNER FAMILY IMPACTING 19 PEOPLE'S LIVES; PERFORMED 20 HOME PRESERVATION AND REPAIR PROJECTS IMPACTING 50 PEOPLE'S LIVES, AND 1420 FILLED 4,821 VOLUNTEER SPOTS GENERATING 23,078 VOLUNTEER HOURS HABITAT RESPONDS TO INCOMING HOME BUYING AND HOME REPAIR APPLICATIONS, SUPPORTS OUR PARTNERS IN THOSE PROGRAMS, ASSISTS OUR MORTGAGE SERVICING COMPANY IN MANAGING OVER 70 MORTGAGES, AND SUPPORTS THE EFFORTS OF TEN STANDING COMMITTEES WHILE APPLYING FOR AND MANAGING GRANTS, AND ADHERING TO OUR AGGRESSIVE CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION/REPAIR SCHEDULE.
