IN 2022, WE SERVED 21 FAMILIES GRINNELL THROUGH OUR CSA PROGRAM AND MANY MORE THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS WITH HEAD START, MICA, AND THE SCHOOL DISTRICT. THESE FAMILIES WERE MADE UP OF 33 ADULTS AND 34 CHILDREN WHO RECEIVED A WEEKLY PRODUCE BOX FROM LOCAL FARMERS FOR 22 WEEKS, LOCAL PROTEIN BOXES 5 OR 6 TIMES ALONG WITH KITCHEN SUPPLES AND COOKBOOKS. ADDITIONALLY DONATED OVER 3044 POUNDS OF LOCALLY PRODUCED FOOD TO THE MID IOWA COMMUNITY ACTION FOOD PANTRYIN GRINNELL, IA. IN TOTAL 25569.49 OF LOCALLY PRODUCED FOOD WAS PURCHASED FROM LOCAL FARMERS TO FEED THOSE WITH LIMITED FINANCIAL RESOURCES.
