CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAMS, INCLUDING THE SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM (SFSP) AND CHILD AND ADULT CARE FOOD PROGRAM (CACFP). THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES NUTRITIOUS MEALS TO CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN LOW-INCOME NEIGHBORHOODS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS AS WELL AS FOOD FOR AT-RISK AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR.
NEIGHBORHOOD SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS, INCLUDING OUTDOOR GAMES, LEARNING ACTIVITIES, AND ART AND MUSIC SESSIONS. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS IN LOW-INCOME NEIGHBORHOODS WHICH FOCUS ON STRENGTHENING SOCIAL EMOTIONAL SKILLS, NURTURING CREATIVITY AND SELF-EXPRESSION, AND BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS AMONG CHILDREN AND YOUTH WITH VERY DIFFERENT LIFE EXPERIENCES AND PERSPECTIVES.
