THE WESTERN IOWA TOURISM REGION SERVES VOLUNTEER GROUPS, ATTRACTIONS AND EVENTS IN A 36 COUNTY REGION IN WESTERN IOWA BY PROVIDING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES AND BY SERVING AS THE CENTRAL COMMUNICATION OFFICE FOR REGIONAL TOURISM, DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION. WESTERN IOWA TOURISM HOSTS A MINIMUM OF 5 WORKSHOPS RELATING TO TOURISM DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION THROUGHOUT THE REGION, HELP TO PROMOTE REGIONAL ATTRACTIONS AND EVENTS ON OUR WEBSITE AND DEVELOP REGIONAL TRAVEL GET-AWAY OPTIONS TO PROMOTE TO TRAVELERS.
