PROPERTY PROGRAM - ACTS AS DEVELOPER AND GENERAL CONTRACTOR IN THE CONSTRUCTION OR REHABILITATION OF HOMES. THE HOMES ARE USED TO PROVIDE HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES TO LOW-INCOME FAMILIES THROUGH LEASE/PURCHASE, CONTRACT PURCHASE, TURNKEY, AND RENTALS. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH GOVERNMENTAL OR NONPROFIT ENTITIES, HOME, INC. MAY ACT AS A GENERAL CONTRACTOR IN THE BUILDING OR IMPROVING HOUSING FOR LOW-INCOME PEOPLE IN POLK COUNTY.


COMMUNITY HOUSING SERVICES PROGRAM - PROVIDES COUNSELING, EDUCATION AND CITIZENS' ADVOCACY SERVICES TO ASSIST TENANTS, LANDLORDS, AND HOMELESS PEOPLE. HOME, INC. PROVIDES HOMEOWNERSHIP COUNSELING AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO FAMILIES PARTICIPATING IN ITS LEASE/PURCHASE PROGRAM AND HOMEOWNERSHIP COUNSELING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO LOW-INCOME PEOPLE.


STABLE FAMILIES - PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND COUNSELING TO FAMILIES WHO ARE AT RISK OF LOSING THEIR HOUSING. HOME, INC. ASSISTS WITH BUDGETING, CONNECTING THEM WITH JOB TRAINING, SCHOOLING, OUTSIDE COUNSELING, AND GETTING THE CHILDREN INVOLVED IN PROGRAMS.
