OUR GOAL IS TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON THE HISTORY OF FARMING AND FARM COOPERATIVES. WE STRIVE TO DO THIS THROUGH PUBLISHED AND PRINTED MATERIALS, OFFERING VARIOUS EDUCATION SEMINARS AND STAFFING BOOTHS AT VARIOUS FAIRS AND EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE STATE. THE PRIMARY WAYS WE DO THIS IS ARE BY PROVIDING SUMMER CAMPS FOR YOUTH DESIGNED TO INTRODUCE THEM TO THE HISTORY OF FARMING AND THE ROLE FARM COOPERATIVES PLAY IN AGRICULTURE HOSTING SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES ON CURRENT ISSUES FACING AGRICULTURE AND COOPERATIVES AND BY PUBLISHING A MN COOKS CALENDAR THAT HIGHLIGHTS AGRICLUTURE IN MINNESOTA AND RECIPES FROM LOCAL RESIDENTS USING MINNESOTA GROWN PRODUCTS.
