PATIENTS WITH CANCER DIAGNOSIS OFTEN FACE ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL CHALLENGES THAT CAN PREVENT THEM FROM BEGINNING OR COMPLETING PRE-PRESCRIBED TREATMENT; WE PROVIDE TRAVEL, LODGING AND MEAL ASSISTANCE FOR PATIENTS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS; WEEKLY SUPPORT GROUPS; DISTRIBUTION OF INFORMATION ABOUT OTHER COMMUNITY SERVICES; AND PROVIDE VOLUNTEERS (ENGLISH AND SPANISH SPEAKING) DURING PHYSICIAN VISITS AND TREATMENTS. APPROXIMATELY 30,000 PATIENT VISITS SUPPORTED, 379,641 TRAVEL MILES REIMBURSED, 1,021 LODGING NIGHTS, AND 1,544 GROCERY CARDS WERE PROVIDED.
