THE ORGANIZATION SERVES APPROXIMATELY 220 PHYSICIANS AND PROVIDES EDUCATION THROUGH ITS ANNUAL MEETING AND EDUCATIONAL COURSES. THE ACADEMY ALSO SUPPORTS SEVERAL OTHER RESEARCH ENDEAVORS SUCH AS GRANTS FOR YOUNG INVESTIGATORS AND MENTORING ACTIVITIES MULTIPLE TIMES A YEAR.
