IN THE 2023-2024 FISCAL YEAR, WE WELCOMED 322 INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS TO MINNESOTA IN AUGUST 2023 THROUGH OUR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT PROGRAMS, INCLUDING RIDE FROM THE AIRPORT, SHORT-TERM HOUSING, KITCHEN AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS GIVEAWAY, AND OUR ANNUAL WELCOME PICNIC. THROUGH OUR MONTHLY MEALS, WE SERVED AROUND 400 INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND OVER 1,000 PLATES OF FOOD. THESE "SET THE TABLE" FOR FRIENDSHIPS AND MEANINGFUL CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND VOLUNTEERS. WE HAVE WELCOMED AND INTRODUCED HUNDREDS OF INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS TO MINNESOTA THROUGH OUR MONTHLY OUTDOOR EVENTS, SUCH AS DOWNHILL SKIING, ICE SKATING, HIKES AT NEARBY STATE PARKS, AND TRIPS TO THE NORTH SHORE.
