COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT. THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS A VARIETY OF EVENTS FOR PEOPLE IN THE CANNON RIVER WATERSHED TO HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO LEARN ABOUT, CONNECT WITH, AND CARE FOR THE WATER.
CONSERVATION. THE CONSERVATION PROGRAM HAS WORKED TO INCREASE ADOPTION OF SOIL HEALTH PRACTICES, WITH PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON COVER CROPS ACROSS THE ENTIRE CANNON RIVER WATERSHED. THIS PROGRAM AIMS TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF IMPAIRED STREAMS AND LAKES BY WORKING WITH FARMERS AND LANDOWNERS TO IMPLEMENT TARGETED CONSERVATION PRACTICES.
