THE GENEVA LAKE CONSERVANCY PROMOTES LAND AND WATER USE POLICIES THATPROTECT THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT AND THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE WALWORTHCOUNTY AREA. THE CONSERVANCY HAS WORKED DILIGENTLY WITH DEVELOPERS INTHE PLANNING STAGES OF DEVELOPMENTS AND IS HELPING BRING AWARENESS TOCONSERVATION SUBDIVISIONS. OTHER THAN ADVOCATING ITS VIEWS BEFORELOCAL GOVERNMENT ENTITIES, THE CONSERVANCY DOES NOT ENGAGE INLEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY. THE GENEVA LAKE CONSERVANCY WAS ACCREDITED BY THELAND TRUST ACCREDITATION COMMISSION IN 2018.
