EPISCOPAL GROUP HOMES STRONGLY ENCOURAGES SKILL DEVELOPMENT, RELATIONSHIP BUILDING AND SELF-DETERMINATION, AS OPPOSED TO SIMPLY PROVIDING A PROTECTIVE ENVIRONMENT. TIMBERTON, OLIVE, AND SHILOH ARE THREE INDIVIDUAL HOMES THAT OFFER SUPERVISED LIVING SERVICES IN WAYZATA AND PLYMOUTH, WHERE INDIVIDUALS WITH MILD TO MODERATE DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES RESIDE. SUPERVISION, TRAINING AND SUPPORT ARE PROVIDED ON A 24-HOUR BASIS BY TRAINED DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS. CLIENTS RECEIVE A VARIETY OF BASIC LIVING INSTRUCTION, INCLUDING SOCIAL SKILLS, HOME MAINTENANCE, COOKING, GROOMING, HYGIENE, MONEY MANAGEMENT, COMMUNICATION AND COPING SKILLS.
