THE PURPOSE OF THE NORTHFIELD HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS TO CONNECT INDIVIDUALS TO THE HISTORY OF THE NORTHFIELD AREA BY COLLECTING, PRESERVING, AND SHARING ITS UNIQUE STORIES.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
MORE THAN 5,000 PEOPLE VISITED THE MUSEUM IN 2022, AND MORE THAN 280 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN THE SOCIETY'S EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING AND SPECIAL EVENTS, MANY VIRTUALLY.
WORK WITH TWO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO INCREASE THE VISIBILITY AND ACCESSIBILITY OF THE HISTORY OF NORTHFIELD THROUGH AN ON-LINE REPOSITORY OF INFORMATION. LED NINE COMMUNITY-WIDE EDUCATIONAL AND COMMUNITY-BUILDING EVENTS.
