CARE OF LOST/ABANDONED ANIMALS: WE IMPOUND STRAY, DOMESTIC ANIMALS FOR MOST OF THEMUNICIPALITIES IN EAU CLAIRE COUNTY. WE RESPOND TO CALLS ABOUT STRAY ANIMALS, BOARD THEMFOR 7 DAYS ACCORDING TO STATE STATUTES, MAKING EVERY ATTEMPT TO FIND THE OWNER OF THE ANIMAL AND RETURN IT TO ITS OWNER. IF NO OWNER IS FOUND, WE DETERMINE IF THE ANIMAL IS ADOPTABLE, AND TAKE ACTION ACCORDINGLY TO PLACE THE ANIMAL FOR ADOPTION OR EUTHANIZE THE ANIMAL IF NEEDED. THIS SERVICE BENEFITS ALL PET OWNERS IN EAU CLAIRE COUNTY.

WE PROVIDE NECESSARY VACCINATIONS, MEDICAL CARE AND TREATMENTS, AND IDENTIFICATION FOR THE PET BEFORE IT IS ADOPTED TO A NEW FAMILY.
