PROMOTE HUMANE TREATMENT OF COMPANION ANIMALS AND PROVED CARE AND SHELTER IN ONEIDA COUNTY WISCONSIN WHILE THEY WAIT TO BE REHOMED; PROVIDE ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES TO ONEIDA COUNTY WISCONSIN

Part 3 - Line 4a

TO FACILITATE AN ANIMAL (PET) ADOPTION CENTER AND STRAY HOLD FACILITY LOCATED IN RHINELANDER WISCONSIN. THE CENTER TAKES IN STRY AND HOMELESS ANIMALS WHICH ARE THEN CARED FOR BY MEANS OF SHELTER, MEDICAL CARE, AND ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMS. THE CENTER IS OPEN 5 DAYS A WEEK AND ON ON-CALL 24 HOURS FOR AFTER HOURS PICK-UP. FEES ARE CHARGED TO ADOPT A PET OR RECLAIM A STRAY. ALL DONATIONS AND FUNDING ARE USED FOR THE OPERATION OF THE ADOPTION CENTER. APPROXIMATELY 1,000 ANIMALS ARE SERVED ANNUALLY THROUGH THE ADOPTION CENTER.
