IN 2022, GCA RESUMED REGULAR CHOIR REHEARSALS FOR 57 CAMPUS CHOIR STUDENTS, REHEARSING AND PERFORMING AT FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH FOR FAMILY MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC. AS WELL AS A GALA BENEFIT LET THEIR VOICE BE HEARD AT WATERMARK COUNTRY CLUB IN NOV 2022 WHERE STUDENTS PERFORMED FOR GCA DONORS, HONORING A COMMUNITY LEADER STUDENTS ALSO PERFORMED WITH THE MICHIGAN BALLET ACADEMY FOR 3 PERFORMANCES OF THE NUTCRACKER. OUR GRANDVILLE AVENUE GIRLS CHOIR GAGC RESUMED REHEARSALS IN 3 GRPS SCHOOLS AS AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS, CULMINATING IN SCHOOL HOLIDAY CONCERTS, AND A COMMUNITY CONCERT AT THE EDGE URBAN CHURCH FOR ALL CHOIRS, AND A END OF SEASON TOUR TO SEE BLUE MAN GROUP AND THE AIRZOO IN KALAMAZOO. THAT PROGRAM SERVED A TOTAL OF 89 STUDENTS THIS YEAR OUR COMBINED TOTAL OF GIRLS, ALL PROGRAMS, WAS 146 GIRLS.
