WE EXIST TO ENGAGE, ENERGIZE AND CONNECT OUR COMMUNITY WITH THE HIGHEST QUALITY PERFORMANCES OF GREAT CHORAL MUSIC.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE MAY FESTIVAL PROVIDED FIVE CONCERTS WITH PAID ATTENDANCE OF 6,518 PATRONS. THE MAY FESTIVAL CHORUS ALSO SERVES AS THE OFFICIAL CHORUS OF THE CINCINNATI SYMPHONY AND POPS ORCHESTRA PERFORMING WITH THE ORCHESTRA FOR NUMEROUS CONCERTS THROUGHOUT CSO/POPS SEPTEMBER THROUGH MAY SEASON.


THE MAY FESTIVAL PROVIDED ONE VAULTED VOICES CONCERT WITH ATTENDANCE OF 505 PATRONS. THE PERFORMANCE IS A CHORAL CONCERT AT HYDE PARK COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.


IN HONOR OF THE MAY FESTIVAL'S STORIED HISTORY OF COMMISSIONING NEW WORKS, THE MAY FESTIVAL IS PROUD TO COLLABORATE WITH LUNA COMPOSITION LAB, A FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES MENTORSHIP AND PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES TO YOUNG COMPOSERS WHO ARE FEMALE, NON-BINARY OR GENDER NONCONFORMING, TO COMMISSION TWENTY-FIVE NEW CHORAL WORKS FOR AND TO BE PREMIERED BY CHORAL ENSEMBLES ACROSS GREATER CINCINNATI.
