BACKPACK BUDDIES PROGRAM PROVIDES WEEKEND BACKPACKS OF FOOD (3 MEALS AND 2 SNACKS) FOR 31 WEEKS, AND IT SERVES APPROXIMATELY 627 ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN FREE AND REDUCED PRICE LUNCH PROGRAMS IN VARIOUS ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN MIDLAND COUNTY. IN 2020, THE PROGRAM PROVIDED 23,130 INDIVIDUALS WITH BACKPACKS OF FOOD.
