FORGOTTEN HARVEST RESCUES AND DELIVERS PREPARED AND PERISHABLE SURPLUS FOOD FROM HEALTH DEPARTMENT APPROVED ESTABLISHMENTS TO MORE THAN 200 SOUP KITCHENS, FOOD PANTRIES AND OTHER COMMUNITY PARTNERS ACROSS THE METROPOLITAN DETROIT AREA AT NO COST TO THEM. THIS YEAR, A TOTAL OF 41,874,910 POUNDS WAS RESCUED AND 40,317,929 WAS DELIVERED,FREE OF CHARGE.
