IN 2021, CHAMPS HEART BOARD AND OTHER LEADING VOLUNTEERS CLOCKED MORE THAN 10,000 HOURS. WEVE TRAINED MORE THAN 130 NEW AND EXISTING VOLUNTEERS TO SKILLFULLY HANDLE THE HORSES WHILE SERVING CHILDREN AND VETERANS WITH A VARIETY OF UNIQUE NEEDS AND CHALLENGES. IN 2021, CHAMPS HEART SERVED EIGHT VETERANS,EACH OF WHOM HAD VARIOUS NEEDS, BUT ALL SHARED ONE THING IN COMMONTHE LASTING IMPACT THAT WAR HAS HAD ON THEIR LIVES, AND THE NEGATIVE EFFECT IT HAS HAD ON THEIR EMOTIONS, CAUSING ANXIETY, STRESS, AND RELATIONAL DIFFICULTIES.
