VIRTUAL LEARNING PRESCHOOL - 20 LOW INCOME YOUTH AND FAMILIES WERE PROVIDED A SAFE SPACE TO RECEIVE MUCH NEEDED SERVICES AND ENJOY RECREATIONAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED VIRTUALLY AND IN PERSON UNDER CDC GUIDELINES. THE PROGRAM USES A HANDS-ON AND DIGITAL APPROACH TO ENGAGE YOUTH IN LEARNING THROUGH DISCOVERY, CREATIVE EXPRESSION, AND GROUP WORK. PROGRAM GOALS INCLUDE HELPING CHILDREN BUILD A STRONG FOUNDATION FOR FUTURE ACADEMIC SUCCESS BY PROVIDING A COMPREHENSIVE AND ENGAGING ONLINE CIRRICULUM.


GO-FIT FOR LIFE - 75 INDIVIDUALS WERE INTRODUCED TO FACTS ABOUT GOOD NUTRITION. THE INDIVIDUALS WERE ALSO INFORMED ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF EXERCISE. CLASSES WERE HELD IN DANCE, EXERCISE, AND UNDERSTANDING DIABETES. THIS NEW INFORMATION CAUSED A CHANGE OF BEHAVIOR IN THEIR HABITS WHICH RESULTED IN A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE.


MIDDLE SCHOOL SKILLS USA - 36 MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS WERE TAUGHT THE IMPORTANCE OF GETTING A SKILL, A TRADE, OR PROFESSION THAT THEY COULD HAVE TO SUPPORT THEMSELVES AND THEIR FUTURE FAMILIES. THEY TRAVELED TO DIFFERENT WORK SITES TO LEARN ABOUT DIFFERENT PROFESSIONS.


FAMILY, FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS, STRENGTHENING AND SUPPORTING FAMILIES, AFTER SCHOOL AND SUMMER CAMP PROGRAMS
