NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDERS ASSOCIATION'S (NSPA) MISSION IS TO ADVANCE THE COLLECTIVE IMPACT OF SCHOLARSHIP PROVIDERS AND THE SCHOLARSHIPS THEY AWARD. NSPA IS DEDICATED TO SUPPORTING THE NEEDS OF PROFESSIONALS ADMINISTERING SCHOLARSHIPS IN COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES, THROUGH PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, PROGRAM DESIGN AND EVALUATION RESOURCES, NETWORKING AND COLLABORATION OPPORTUNITIES, AND ACCESS TO INDUSTRY RESEARCH. NSPA PROVIDES AN ASSORTMENT OF ONLINE RESOURCES, WEBINARS, SUMMITS, AND AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE. NSPA HAS OVER 2000 MEMBERS FROM NEARLY 650 ORGANIZATIONS ACROSS NORTH AMERICA AND BEYOND. IN 2021, NSPA HELD ITS ANNUAL CONFERENCE VIRTUALLY (DUE TO THE PANDEMIC) AND PROVIDED OVER 100 HOURS OF EDUCATIONAL CONTENT AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES TO OVER 700 HIGHER EDUCATION AND SCHOLARSHIP ADMINISTRATION PROFESSIONALS.

MEMBER SERVICES AND CONFERENCES: NSPA PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND SERVICES FOR SCHOLARSHIP ADMINISTRATORS, INCLUDING BEST PRACTICE PROGRAM DESIGN AND EVALUATION RESOURCES, NETWORKING AND COLLABORATION OPPORTUNITIES, AND ACCESS TO INDUSTRY RESEARCH. NSPA HAS NEARLY 1800 MEMBERS FROM OVER 580 ORGANIZATIONS ACROSS NORTH AMERICA AND BEYOND. AS A RESULT OF THE COVID PANDEMIC, NSPA HELD ITS ANNUAL CONFERENCE VIRTUALLY IN BOTH 2020 AND 2021. IN 2021, 775 CONFERENCE ATTENDEES ENJOYED NEARLY 100 HOURS OF EDUCATIONAL CONTENT. NSPA INTENDS TO RETURN TO IN-PERSON FOR THEIR 2022 ANNUAL CONFERENCE.
INDUSTRY PROJECTS: NSPA HAS RECEIVED SIGNIFICANT GRANT SUPPORT FROM THE MICHAEL AND SUSAN DELL FOUNDATION TO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN A DATABASE OF SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION FOR THE HIGHER EDUCATION COMMUNITY. THIS DATABASE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO TRANSFORM SCHOLARSHIP ADMINISTRATION BY ASSISTING MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS IN STRATEGIC DECISION MAKING BASED ON INDUSTRY DATA.
