2021 MARKED THE 22ND ANNUAL ORAL HEAD & NECK CANCER AWARENESS WEEK (OHANCAW), WHICH WAS HELD APRIL 3-9, 2021. WITH THE OHANCA PROGRAM, HNCA WORKS CLOSELY WITH LOCAL HOSPITALS, CLINICS AND MEDICAL CENTERS EACH YEAR TO PROVIDE FREE HEAD AND NECK CANCER SCREENINGS AND EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE US AND ABROAD. IN 2021, HNCA GREW ITS AMBASSADOR PROGRAM. AMBASSADORS ARE DEDICATED TO EDUCATING THE COMMUNITY-AT-LARGE ABOUT THESE CANCERS. OUR AMBASSADORS ARE CANCER PATIENTS, SURVIVORS AND/OR CAREGIVERS WHOSE INSPIRATIONAL JOURNEYS GIVE TRUE MEANING TO WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARE DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER, DURING AND POST-TREATMENT.(CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O)
