THE OVARIAN CANCER INSTITUTE COMPILED RESEARCH ON DETECTING MORE EFFECTIVE TREATMENT OF CANCER, PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, AND HELD SEMINARS TO EDUCATE WOMEN ON POSSIBLE SYMPTOMS OF OVARIAN CANCER AND ITS TREATMENT. OCI FUNDED RESEARCH ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR 2021 INCLUDE: - INCREASED ACCURACY OF A STAGE I DIAGNOSTIC TEST FOR OVARIAN CANCER. - INCREASED ACCURACY OF DRUG PREDICTIVE ALGORITHM TO 80-90%. - COMPLETED PRE-CLINICAL STUDY OF NANOPARTICLE DRUG DELIVERY.
