THE WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA CANCER COALITION SERVES A THIRTEEN-COUNTY AREA WITH A POPULATION OF APPROXIMATELY 360,000 PEOPLE. THE WEST CENTRAL GEORGIA CANCER COALITION PARTICIPATED IN OR HOSTED 47 OUTREACH EVENTS TO PROMOTE AWARENESS OF CANCER PREVENTION AND CONTROL MECHANISMS TO 1,811 COMMUNITY RESIDENTS. THE COALITION DISTRIBUTED 108 FIT KITS FOR COLORECTAL CANCER AWARENESS. THE COALITION ASSISTED 289 PATIENTS WITH NAVIGATING CANCER CARE SERVICES, AND PROVIDED 537 BREAST CANCER SCREENINGS.
