TO SPREAD THE WORD OF GOD AND TO DEMONSTRATE THE GOSPEL IN ACTION BY GIVING FOOD, CLOTHES, AND COUNSEL TO THE HUNGRY AND NEEDY.

WE ARE A FOOD PANTRY. WE RECEIVE SURPLUS FOOD FROM FOOD-RELATED BUSINESSES AND FOOD DONATIONS FROM CHURCHES, INDIVIDUALS, AND ORGANIZATIONS. DUE TO COVID, WE RECEIVED FREE FOOD FROM THE GREATER CHICAGO FOOD DEPOSITORY, RATHER THAN PURCHASING DISCOUNTED FOOD FROM THEM.WE GIVE THIS FOOD TO ABOUT 8,000 FAMILIES AND VARIOUS NEIGHBORING NOT-FOR-PROFIT FOOD PANTRIES AND CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS EACH MONTH. WE ALSO RECEIVE A RELATIVELY SMALL AMOUNT OF NON-FOOD DONATIONS THAT WE DISTRIBUTE TO OUR CLIENTS. WE DISTRIBUTED ABOUT $95,000 WORTH OF FOOD EACH MONTH DURING THE YEAR.
