OUR MISSION: PROVIDE SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH SPINAL CORD INJURIES AND RELATED ISSUES, INCLUDING PREVENTION. CLIENT SERVICE -- PROVIDED SUPPORT FOR INDIVIDUALS BY HELPING WITH EQUIPMENT ACQUISITIONS, INCLUDING PASS THROUGH DONATIONS, ANSWERING HUNDREDS OF CALLS SEEKING VARIOUS INFORMATION. PEER SUPPORT PROVIDED TO NEWLY-INJURED INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, AND CAREGIVERS. COMMUNITY SERVICE--PROVIDED SUPPORT 'THINK FIRST" PREVENTION PROGRAMS WERE PRESENTED AT LOCAL AREA SCHOOLS AND OTHER GROUP FORMS. PUBLIC INFORMATION --WORKED WITH HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, POLICY MAKERS, AND THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE TO EDUCATE AND GENERATE AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE LIFELONG EFFECT OF SPINAL CORD INJURIES.
