THE FOUNDATION CURRENTLY MAKES GRANTS TO THE LES TURNER ALS CENTER AT NORTHWESTERN MEDICINE FOR ALS RESEARCH, THE LOIS INSOLIA ALS CLINIC AND OTHER ALS EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES PERSONALIZED SUPPORT VISITS, SUPPORT GROUPS, ACCESS TO EQUIPMENT AND OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES TO PEOPLE WITH ALS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE FOUNDATION OFFERS EXTENSIVE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO PEOPLE WITH ALS AND THEIR FAMILIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND INCREASES PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE DISEASE THROUGHEDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES.
