RESIDENTIAL SUMMER MUSIC PERFORMANCE ACADEMY FOR HIGH SCHOOL-AGE STUDENTS.

ONE-HUNDRED AND TWO STUDENTS FROM 16 STATES AND CANADA ATTENDED, SERVED BY 63 FACULTY MEMBERS FROM 17 STATES.
BIRCH CREEK SCHEDULES ONSITE, PAID CONCERTS AS WELL AS FREE OUTREACH COMMUNITY CONCERTS. THIRTY FOUR CONCERTS WERE PERFORMED ON CAMPUS FOR PAYING AUDIENCES, NUMBERING 4,133 ATTENDEES DURING THE ACADEMY, FALL SERIES AND CHRISTMAS CONCERTS. WITH FOUR FREE, SPONSORED FAMILY CONCERTS OF 271 ATTENDEES AND 22 AMBASSADOR GIGS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY, WE REACHED OVER 3,000 ATTENDEES ATTENDING FREE CONCERTS. IN ADDITION, ADULT BAND CAMP AND A CHAMBER MUSIC RETREAT ARE OFFERED IN AUGUST FOR ADULT PROGRAMMING. SHOULDER SEASON CONCERTS IN THE FALL AND AT CHRISTMAS EXTEND THE SEASON THROUGH THE PERFORMANCE SEASON.
