THE PURPOSE OF THE CENTER IS TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE OPTIMAL INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL, AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN THROUGH EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN OF BOONE COUNTY, CITY OF ROCKFORD, AND CITY OF MCHENRY INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THOSE CHILDREN OF FAMILIES WITH LIMITED INCOME. THE CENTER PROVIDES AN EDUCATIONAL FORMAT FOR CHILDREN STARTING AT 6 WEEKS AND CONTINUNG THROUGH PRE-K. - WE ENSURE THE CHILDREN RECEIVE A NUTRITIOUS BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND AFTERNOON SNACK AND WE ALSO PROVIDE AN ADDED MORNING SNACK; - OUR PROGRAM PROVIDES BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE, WE SET UP AN E-LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AS WAS NEEDED FOR COVID-19 SCHOOL CLOSINGS AND CAN BE ACTIVATED AGAIN IF NECESSARY AS WELL AS ASSIST SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN WITH NECESSARY RESOURSES WHEN LOOKING FOR HELP IN CERTIAN CLASSES; - OUR PROGRAM WORKS HARD TO PROVIDE EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES SUCH AS MUSIC, ART AND SOCIAL EXPERIENCES.
