Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
DR. JANE WEAVER AND HER STAFF OF SEVEN AT THE CLINIC IN SAN LORENZO PLAY AN IMPORTANT PART IN THIS UNDER PRIVILEGED COMMUNITY WHICH HAS LIMITED ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE. DR. WEAVER AND HER STAFF PROVIDE YEAR-ROUND MEDICAL, OCULAR AND SURGICAL CARE FOR APPROXIMATELY 300 PATIENTS PER MONTH. PROVIDED FUNDS FROM LAMB SUPPORTED REGULAR MEDICAL/SURGICAL EQUIPMENT AND GENERAL OPERATION OF THE MEDICAL CLINIC. LAMB FUNDS ALSO SUPPORTED A FULL-TIME MEDICAL MISSIONARY SERVING IN ECUADOR FOR HOUSING, LIVING EXPENSES AND SUPPLIES. IN ADDITION, THREE DIFFERENT ANESTHESIOLOGISTS WERE FUNDED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FOR THE MONTHLY GENERAL SURGERY WEEKS. DUE TO GOVERNMENT COVID RESTRICTIONS IN SAN LORENZO WE COULD ONLY SPONSOR ONE OCULAR TEAM OF 5 PEOPLE IN FEBRUARY/MARCH. THEY SAW AND PERFORMED SURGERY ON 56 PATIENTS. BECAUSE OF THE INABILITY TO OPERATE AT FULL CAPACITY FOR 5 MONTHS THE CLINIC EXPERIENCED A SIGNIFICANT DECLINE IN REVENUE. LAMB WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE FUNDING TO MEET THE SHORTFALL AND COVER STAFF SALARIES FOR THE YEAR. OUR LARGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT THIS YEAR HAS BEEN THE ACQUISITION OF APPROXIMATELY 49,828.00 IN DONATIONS FOR MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES WHICH ARE TO BE SENT BY CONTAINER TO ECUADOR AS SOON AS SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS ARE APPROVED.
