WE VALUE: OUR MEMBER AGENCIES AND THE SERVICES THEY PROVIDE; OPERATING WITH INTEGRITY; BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR OUR ACTIONS; CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE MISSION; AND THE CIRCULAR RELATIONSHIP OF SUPPORT: OUR REPONSE TO THE COMMUNITY.

UNITED WAY OF LAWRENCE COUNTY (UWLC) WORKS WITH MEMBER AGENCIES AND A NETWORK OF OTHER COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE AND COLLABORATIVE SOLUTIONS THAT HELP LOCAL RESIDENTS IMPROVE THEIR LIVES. UWLC DISTRIBUTES FUNDS TO LOCAL SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS IN LAWRENCE AND ORANGE COUNTIES, INDIANA FOR YOUTH, EDUCATION, AND HEALTH PROGRAMS.
UWLC PROGRAMS SUPPORT HEALTH, EDUCATION AND INCOME PROGRAMS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF LAWRENCE AND ORANGE COUNTIES IN INDIANA. TWO SUCH PROGRAMS WERE THE UNITED WAY ANNUAL DAY OF CARING LINKING VOLUNTEERS AND MEMBER AGENCIES TO PROMOTE THE SPIRIT AND VALUE OF VOLUNTEERISM, INCREASE THE AWARENESS OF LOCAL HUMAN SERVICE AGENCIES AND SCHOOLS, AND DEMONSTRATE WHAT PEOPLE WORKING TOGETHER FOR THE COMMUNITY'S GOOD CAN ACCOMPLISH. COVID-19 RELIEF PROGRAMS IN COOPERATION WITH LILLY ENDOWMENT AND THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION PARTNERSHIP AND ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION. UWLC IS PROVIDING TRAINING AND WORKSHOPS FOR LOCAL EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS. THE UNITED WAY ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING IS THE OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS AND STAKEHOLDERS TO COME TOGETHER AND REVIEW THIS PAST YEAR AND DEAL WITH MATTERS SUCH AS THE ELECTION OF BOARD MEMBERS AND REVIEWING THE ANNUAL FINANCIAL STATEMENTS.
