THE LIONS CLUB OF CORTLAND OHIO IS THE FUNDRAISING ARM OF THE LIONS CLUB FOUNDATION OF CORTLAND OHIO. THE LIONS FOUNDATION SUPPORTS OVER 40 LOCAL CAUSES (OVER 100 PEOPLE) THROUGH VARIOUS DONATIONS. EXAMPLES ARE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR LOCAL (IN NEED) STUDENTS, LOCAL EYE EXAMS AND EYE GLASS PURCHASES FOR LOW INCOME/SENIOR MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY, THE CORTLAND AREA FOOD BANK, CORTVIEW LOW INCOME/SENIOR APARTMENTS, ALONG WITH MANY OTHER LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT THE SURROUNDING AREAS.
