DONATED GOODS PROGRAM: COLLECTION, PROCESSING AND SALE OF DONATED GOODS IN RETAIL OUTLETS TO PROVIDE REVENUE FOR JOB READINESS SKILLS TRAINING/EDUCATION AND WORK ASSESSMENT FOR VOCATIONAL PROGRAMS. OUTLETS PROVIDE SPACE FOR ON-THE-JOB TRAINING, ASSESSEMENTS AND PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS. 13 RETAIL STORES THROUGHOUT NORTHWEST OHIO, AS WELL AS E-COMMERCE SOLD THROUGH OUR E-COMMERCE PLATFORM SHOPGOODWILL, 726,525 TRANSACTIONS IN RETAIL STORES, OVER 50 NONPROFIT PARTNERS ACROSS NORTHWEST OHIO, MISSION INTEGRATED, 4 STANDALONE DONATIONS STATIONS THROUGHOUT NORTHWEST OHIO, 383,881 DONORS, 172,110 POUNDS DONATED FROM NWO ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOLS, 6,432,631 POUNDS OF MATERIAL DIVERTED FROM LANDFILLS.

MISSION SERVICES: ASSIST INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES OR OTHER BARRIERS TO EMPLOYMENT, ENHANCE THEIR JOB READINESS SKILLS AND/OR LINK WITH EMPLOYERS. IDENTIFY INDIVIDUALS' WORK INTEREST, ABILITIES, AND COMPETITIVE EMPLOYMENT BARRIERS RELATED TO JOB READINESS SKILLS. EACH CLIENT RECEIVES ONE-ON-ONE ASSISTANCE THROUGH OUR WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS IN ORDER TO PROMOTE EMPLOYMENT AND FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE. MISSION SERVICES HAS TWO JOB CONNECTION CENTERS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, ONE LOCATED ADJACENT TO OUR DEVEAUX STORE LOCATION AND THE OTHER LOCATED AT OUR MADISON AVENUE HEADQUARTERS IN DOWNTOWN TOLEDO. WE PROUDLY SERVE OVER 3,400 INDIVIDUALS WITH JOB SEEKING SKILLS TRAINING AND OF THOSE, PLACED 288 INDIVIDUALS IN JOBS THROUGHOUT NORTHWEST OHIO IN 2021.
