SGCE PLANNED, DESIGNED, AND IMPLEMENTED THE TRIBAL SELF-GOVERNANCE VIRTUAL TRAINING PROGRAM. USING VIRTUAL FORMATS THAT ENABLED SPEAKERS AND PRESENTERS FROM ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO BROADCAST TO A STREAMING PLATFORM IN ORDER TO SHARE INFORMATION ON TRIBAL SELF-GOVERNANCE, TRIBAL NATIONS' RESPONSES TO COVID-19, FEDERAL AGENCY AND CONGRESSIONAL UPDATES, AND INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO ADDRESS THE VARIED NEEDS OF TRIBAL COMMUNITIES.


SGCE COORDINATED TRIBAL ADVISORY MEETINGS FOR FEDERAL AGENCIES. SUPPORTED TRIBAL AND FEDERAL LEADERS BY PREPARING MATERIALS, DEVELOPING AGENDAS, CONDUCTING NEEDED RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS, AND CONDUCTING FOLLOW-UP. EACH MEETING HAD APPROXIMATELY 100 PARTICIPANTS FROM ACROSS THE UNITED STATES.


SGCE DEVELOPED TRAINING MATERIALS AND CURRICULUM TO EDUCATE TRIBAL OFFICERS, STUDENTS, AND OTHERS ON THE ADMINISTRATION OF GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAMS USING SELF-DETERMINATION AND SELF-GOVERNANCE MECHANISMS. IN ADDITION, SGCE REDESIGNED THE TRIBALSELFGOV.ORG WEBSITE TO ENSURE USERS CAN EASILY ACCESS RELEVANT INFORMATION AND TRAINING MATERIALS.
