WICHITA COUNTY MEDICAL ALLIANCE (WCMA) SCHOLARSHIPS - WCMA PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS AND RESIDENTS FROM LOCAL COUNTIES. WCMA REPRESENTS WICHITA, ARCHER, CLAY AND KNOX COUNTIES. THE RECIPIENT OF THE SCHOLARSHIP MUST BE A RESIDENT OF AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF THE COUNTIES SERVED AND MUST BE A FULL-TIME STUDENT PURSUING A DEGREE AT AN INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE STATE OF TEXAS. ANYONE ELIGIBLE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE WCMA AND FAMILY MEMBERS OF THOSE WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO BE MEMBERS IN THE WCMA ARE INELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIPS.
SURGICAL, DENTAL AND OPHTHAMOLOGY MISSION OF THE PHILIPPINES - IN SUPPORT OF CONTINUING HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS TO MEDICALLY SUPPORT THE PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES, WCMA PERFORMS DENTAL EXTRACTIONS, OPERATIONS, OPHTHALMOLOGY CHECK-UPS AND EYE GLASS DISTRIBUTIONS.
PLAYGROUND AND SPLASH PAD PROJECT - WCMA IS STRIVING TO MAKE AN EVEN GREATER IMPACT ON THE HEALTH OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. WCMA WANTS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE COMMUNITY'S EFFORTS OF IMPROVING RECREATIONAL SPACES THAT BORDER THE NEW BICYCLE AND WALKING TRAILS. THE FIRST PROJECT WILL BE REPLACING THE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT AT HAMILTON PARK AND CONSTRUCTING A SPLASH PAD PLAY AREA.
