ESTABLISHED AS A 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION IN 2013, NACRJ HOSTS THE BIENNIAL NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON COMMUNITY AND RESTORATIVE JUSTICE, THE LARGEST GATHERING OF ITS KIND IN THE GLOBAL HISTORY OF THE RESTORATIVE JUSTICE MOVEMENT. IN 2023, NACRJ UNVEILED ITS PLANS AND COMMENCED PREPARATIONS FOR ITS 9TH NATIONAL CONFERENCE, SCHEDULED TO TAKE PLACE IN JULY 2024 IN WASHINGTON, D.C. APART FROM THE CONFERENCE, NACRJ PROVIDES MEMBERSHIP SERVICES, FORMULATES POSITION AND POLICY STATEMENTS, AND PROVIDES A GROWING NUMBER OF PROGRAMS, PARTNERSHIPS, AND SERVICES. AMONG ITS OFFERINGS ARE A GRANT PROGRAM, ONLINE FACILITATED DIALOGUE EVENTS, RESTORATIVE JUSTICE MAPPING PROJECT, AND VARIOUS WORKING GROUPS AND COMMITTEES CATERING TO ITS MEMBERS AND THE BROADER FIELDS OF COMMUNITY AND RESTORATIVE JUSTICE.
