IGNATIAN FAMILY TEACH-IN FOR JUSTICE - IN OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER OF 2021, MORE THAN 2,800 INDIVIDUALS GATHERED VIRTUALLY AND IN PERSON FOR THE 24TH ANNUAL IGNATIAN FAMILY TEACH-IN FOR JUSTICE IFTJ. THE 2021 THEME - IMAGINING A PATH FORWARD REFLECTION. RECKONING. KINSHIP. - INVITED ATTENDEES TO CONSIDER HOW THE PANDEMIC EXACERBATED AND LAID BARE INJUSTICES IN THE WORLD AND TO TAKE ACTION IN WAYS THAT CENTER THE NEEDS OF THE MOST VULNERABLE AND BUILD A MORE PROFOUND SENSE OF KINSHIP AND COMMUNITY.
JUSTICE FORMATION, NETWORKING, AND ACTION PROGRAMMING - FORMATION NETWORKING - IN FY 2021-2022, ISN FACILITATED IN-PERSON PROGRAMMING AND CAMPAIGNS AROUND VARIOUS ISSUE AREAS, INCLUDING A CONSISTENT ETHIC OF LIFE, ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE, ECONOMIC JUSTICE, AND RACIAL JUSTICE AND EQUITY, AMONG OTHERS. FOR OVER A DECADE, ISN HAS BEEN CONNECTING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ACROSS THE US AT ANNUAL ARRUPE LEADERS SUMMITS - EMPOWERING STUDENT LEADERS TO ENACT POSITIVE SOCIAL CHANGE IN THEIR SCHOOLS, HOME COMMUNITIES, AND BEYOND. THE THREE 2022 SUMMITS BROUGHT 133 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND 39 FACULTY AND STAFF TOGETHER - ALL WITH A SHARED COMMITMENT TO PUTTING FAITH IN ACTION TO BUILD A MORE JUST WORLD. ON 6/15/22, 103 PARISH STAFF AND PARISHONERS FROM 48 PARISHES IN THE JESUIT AND BROADER CATHOLIC NETWORK ACROSS THE US GATHERED VIRTUALLY FOR THE ISNS 2022 IGNATIAN PARISH JUSTICE SUMMIT. THE 2022 THEME WAS MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER, EMPHASIZING THE NEED FOR RENEWAL AND REVITALIZATION AS A NETWORK AND COMMUNITY OF COLLABORATORS WORKING FOR A MORE JUST WORLD. CONT ON SCH O
MARKETING - IN FY 2020 - 2021, ISN WELCOMED MORE THAN 294,000 WEBSITE VISITORS AND NEARLY 29,000 SUBSCRIBERS TO OUR REGULAR SOCIAL JUSTICE NEWSLETTERS. ISNS GROWTH IN REACH ALSO ENCOMPASSES A HOST OF SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS, WITH MORE THAN 27,000 FOLLOWERS ON FACEBOOK, MORE THAN 17,000 ON TWITTER, MORE THAN 12,000 ON INSTAGRAM AND NEARLY 1,000 ON YOUTUBE. EDUCATION FOR JUSTICE, ACQUIRED BY IGNATIAN SOLIDARITY NETWORK IN JANUARY 2019, HAS BECOME A CORE ELEMENT OF ISNS RESOURCE OFFERINGS. AS OF JUNE 30, 2021, MORE THAN 1,300 CATHOLIC EDUCATORS AND MINISTERS ARE ACTIVE MEMBERS OF EDUCATION FOR JUSTICE THROUGH OVER 730 INDIVIDUAL AND INSTITUTIONL MEMBERSHIPS. THROUGH EDUCATION FOR JUSTICE, THE IGNATIAN SOLIDARITY NETWORK ADDS THREE TO FIVE NEW RELEVANT RESOURCES EACH MONTH TO A DIGITAL LIBRARY TOTALING OVER 2,500 TOTAL ITEMS, INCLUDING PRAYERS, DISCUSSION GUIDES, LESSON PLANS AND MUCH MORE.
